Itinerary
Day 1 & 2: Okavango Delta-Moremi Game Reserve
Arrive at Maun Airport, the ‘Gateway to the Okavango Delta’ one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders. You will be met by your pilot and escorted to the plane for your shared flight to Xakanaxa Camp set in the heart of the Moremi Game Reserve. Accommodation is in twelve tents. Each tent is tastefully furnished with twin or double beds and en-suite facilities. The tents are situated on the edge of the lagoon and from their private viewing deck, with comfortable loungers, one looks onto the reeded fringes at the waters edge. The camp, with its eclectic mix of furnishings from all over Africa, has a dining room, lounge/bar area, fire deck and plunge pool all slightly raised on wooden platforms with spectacular views over the Xakanaxa Lagoon on the Khwai River, where boat and mokoro (dug-out canoe) trips explore the sinuous channels and floodplains of the Delta. Birding in the area is excellent, especially in the spring and summer months when the migrants are breeding . Spend the two nights with morning and late afternoon game activities. (B,L,D)

Day 3 & 4: Okavango Delta
Depending on your flight time you may go on an early morning game activity. After breakfast you will be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Kwara Camp, deep in the crystal clear permanent waters of the Okavango Delta. The camp consists of eight luxury safari-style tents are built on raised decks, within a grove of huge and ancient African Ebony trees. Resident hippos will generally serenade you year round from the water on the floodplain in front of the camp. Each tent has its own viewing deck, private en-suite facilities including hot and cold running showers, flush toilets and modern amenities.
At Kwara, you will discover why the Okavango is considered one of the ecological wonders of Africa and indeed the world. In the next two days experience the peace and tranquility of gliding silently through the Delta waters in the early morning and feel the pulse and excitement of a lion hunt at night. Whilst on an island walk with an armed guide you will learn about their deep beliefs and knowledge of the intricacies of nature. The attraction of Kwara is its range of activities in an area of intricate channels, rivers, lagoons, dramatic palm-fringed islands, reed beds, floating grasses and papyrus that form a natural wilderness like no other. Powerboat trips due to the presence of permanent water and mekoro excursions for which the Okavango Delta is famous are all year round activity. Water experiences combined with the ability to drive both off-road and at night add to the uniqueness of your stay at Kwara. The birds of the Delta are both colorful and melodious and the guides will reveal them to you from close range. Godikwe Lagoon is one of the largest bird breeding colonies in Botswana. From September to December thousands of birds and their young may be viewed in their nesting grounds from Kwara' s double decker pontoon boat. Fishing for bream, catfish and pike is excellent. Day 5 & 6: Chobe National Park
Early morning wake up call with fresh tea/coffee and biscuits served in your room. Depending upon your charter flight times, you will experience a mokoro excursion, exploring the rivulets and channels of the Delta. You will be transferred to the airstrip after breakfast for your flight to Chobe National park, home to an abundance of wildlife, including the legendary fish eagle of which sightings are almost certain as this mighty predator swoops on its unsuspecting prey beneath the waters of the Chobe River.
Your accommodation is at Chobe Marina Lodge uniquely located in the North-Eastern corner of Botswana where the four African nations of Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia converge. The Chobe River, Chobe National Park, Kasane Forest Reserve, the Caprivi Strip and the mighty Zambezi river, each offer their own attractions. Included with your stay here is morning and afternoon game activities on 4 x4 open vehicles accompanied by experienced driver guide and a cruise on a river boat to the park will introduce you to a totally different game viewing experience. Other activities to enhance your experience at Chobe Marina Lodge include a leisurely sunset cruise or sightseeing cruise to Sedudu Island. For a thrilling experience you can try your hand at fishing for the famed Tiger Fish which inhabit the Chobe and Kasai river systems. And when not out and about visiting the many attractions in the area the swimming pool is an ideal refuge. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Depart
Dependant upon you departure time, you may be able to do a short morning game drive, then return to camp for a light breakfast before you are transferred back to Kasane Airport for your charter/road transfer to Livingstone should you choose to extend your adventure to Victoria Falls.(B)
Extend your adventure to Victoria Falls for 2 Nights , including accommodation on bed and breakfast basis, tour of the falls, sundowner cruise and airport transfer staying at the following hotels.
Day 7: Livingstone, Victoria Falls Zambia
Transfer overland to Livingstone in Zambia. On arrival you are met and transferred to your hotel, Zambezi Sun Hotel, located on the edge of the Eastern Cataract of the Victoria Falls.
In the evening transfer to the jetty for the sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. The cruise is along the river boundary of the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, around Siloka Island and back to The Waterfront jetty. The total cruise time is approximately 2.5 hours. From the boat, sightings of elephant, giraffe and even rhino coming down to the river to drink are common. There are also abundant, hippos, crocodiles and birdlife. Aboard the boat there is complimentary bar and serve freshly baked snacks. An experienced guide accompanies cruise and has good knowledge on the wildlife and local history of the area. (B)

Day 8: Livingstone – The Victoria Falls
After breakfast depart on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of seven natural wonders of the world. This walking tour takes you through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the fall. Remainder of the day at leisure – return to the fall on your own (guests of the hotel have unlimited access), take an optional tour into the town or to a local village or relax at the hotel. (B)
